The Legend at Bristlecone- Hartland, WI
This event was probably the most fun week we had all summer. From the beautiful course, the generous private housing, fun activities planned to the awesome group of volunteers we got to work with. I really loved this event.
We had 2 days to set up the course, so we split the work to two half days of work followed by a Summerfest the first night to a Brewers game the second night. Both events were a riot!

Besides being able to go to a baseball game and a concert we got to stay with the different members of the course, who all lived in beautiful homes along the course. We were all split up, one person per home because of how many members wanted to host us. I stayed with a lady named Lisa. She was very easy going and hospitable. It was fun staying with a fun single lady for a week, it was a girls week for sure.
To get to know the members/volunteer they had a BBQ at Bob' house, who was head of the board for the event from Bristlecone. BBQs were always fun because we got to hang out and talk to different people as well as throw the football around a little. Another family had us over to their house to make pizzas in their brick oven! that was sweet because we all made our own individual pizza. A couple of beers later the members and us were cracking up telling stories from previous years of the event. Another fun night for team 5.
