June 7-10 Quad Cities

Short Hills C.C.- East Moline, Illinois

We got to East Moline early, and had alot of spare time because it was still considered a training tournament. When we got there it was late so we called it a night. The boys had private housing and the girls stayed at the host hotel.

The next day we met the staff at Short Hills Country Club and set up head quarters and went out to mark the golf course where the tournament was being held.



The next day we went over to the course where the qualifier round was being held and marked and prepped that course. We did minimal set up for this course because we were only spending one day here.

With the extra time we explored the Quad cities, and I got to go on a few runs. At night we went over to the house where the boys were staying and would hang out, play pool and watch t.v.

Schedule of Events:


Qualifier Round: (at the Arsenal Course)

5:30 am set up the course
8 am shot gun start for the qualifier
2pm break down the course, load the trailer
4:30pm drive back to Short Hills to unload the trailer
5pm Set up the course for the tournament
8:30 leave the course for the night

5:30 Course set up
7am Tee times start (rules officiating)
5pm start course breakdown
8pm dinner

Final Round

5:30 Course set up
7am Tee times start (rules officiating)
5pm Break down the entire course and pack and inventory the trailer
8:30ish call it a day (dinner then straight to bed)
